Devlog #1 - First Beta: Exploring the Four Islands! 🌴

Hello Everyone!

"Happy New Year! I'm excited to share with you the first Devlog for the beta version of my new game (The Golden Eye)! The game has entered the first beta phase, and I can't wait to hear your feedback and thoughts. The goal of this phase is to improve performance and graphics before the full release, and of course, to let you experience the map that we've been working on."

1. What Has Been Achieved:

"After about five months of work, I have developed 4 unique islands, each filled with secrets and challenges that will take you on an unforgettable adventure. From the massive volcano on the second island to the giant black cube on the third island, each one offers you new and diverse challenges. Right now, the focus has been on the map and the overall world, and the combat system will come in later updates."

2. Key Updates:

• Graphical Enhancements: Reduced heavy effects like deep shadows and reflections to improve performance.
• New Content: Added 4 islands with detailed elements for you to explore.
• Bug Fixes: Fixed some technical issues that were affecting game stability for smoother gameplay.

3. The Four Islands:

Island 1:

"The first island is where your journey begins. It features a small pond and a simple plateau, but don't let its simplicity fool you, it's just the introduction to your adventure! 🌊🌄 Explore it carefully!

Island 2:

"The second island is the largest and most diverse. It contains a massive volcano, a wide desert, a hidden valley, and a river flowing through the plains. There's also a small village with 100 homes, each painted a different color. Will you be able to uncover everything this island has to offer? 🚤🌋"

Island 3:

"Island 3 is full of challenges: a broken stone and thorny entrance, surrounded by dangerous mountains. Inside, you'll find a massive black cube housing a maze that you must navigate with parkour skills to reach the treasure chest, which holds a golden eye and a necklace. Can you conquer the maze? 🔥💎"

Island 4:

"Island 4 features a grand valley and two glitchy characters who were created by a strange Glitch, giving them incredible speed and unpredictable behavior. Can you uncover the secret behind these two characters? ⚡🌊"

4. Challenges:

"During testing, we faced some performance issues, especially in areas with a lot of detail. Some players may experience frame rate drops (FPS) in crowded areas, but we're continuously working on improving this. 📉⚙️"

5. What’s Coming Next?

• Fixes and Updates: We’ll continue to improve performance and resolve bugs based on your feedback. We are also working on enhancing compatibility with different screen resolutions.
• New Content: We plan to add more challenges and stages in other islands in future updates.
• Story Expansion: We are working on a more complex and immersive story to deepen player engagement. 💡🔮
